Overview
The exploration of space has always captivated the human imagination. From the historic moon landing in 1969 to the ongoing study of distant planets and celestial bodies, space agencies play a pivotal role in expanding our understanding of the universe. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, here’s a rundown of the top 10 space agencies in the world, each contributing significantly to the quest for knowledge beyond our planet.
10. CNSA (Canada’s National Space Agency) – Canada
Although smaller than some of its counterparts, the Canadian Space Agency has made substantial contributions to space science and robotics. Canada is renowned for its expertise in developing robotic systems used in space missions, such as the Canadarm on the Space Shuttle and the Canadarm2 on the ISS.

Northrop Grumman, a major aerospace and defense company, plays a critical role in space exploration, including developing spacecraft and technologies for scientific missions and national security. Their Cygnus spacecraft is used for resupply missions to the ISS.
